Wiz Khalifa surprised fans with “Duty Calls” features a dreamy sound and the production Sledgren is known for. The drums really make the track as they work perfectly with the distorted keys. Wiz approaches the track in typical Wiz fashion, working with the production and letting it stand out instead of fighting through it.
Wiz also brings in some harmonizing towards the end of the track which he does well. Wiz always has a great ear for what sounds good at the right moment in a tracks progression, this is a prime example of that ability.
