Unless you’re from the DMV area, there’s a pretty good chance you haven’t heard of WillThaRapper. The D.C rapper has garnered the attention of some area superstars like Wale & John Wall following the success of his hit single “Pull Up Hop Out,” which has over 2 million views on Youtube since its release in October of last year. But looking to give the record another push, the D.C. rapper decided to call on ATL veteran Gucci Mane for some assistance, and this is just might what it needs to get the nationwide look.
Over the catchy, hard-hittin’ production, Gucci leads things off and boasts about driving Mercedes Benz, rockin’ loud jewelry, and being a mogul in the process. “Loud ice and loud pipes/ This that mogul life/ I fucked a mogul wife even fucked a promoter wife” Gucci spits before the slow catchy hook comes to play.
“We were talking about a couple of different guys for the remix but I would’ve never thought Gucci would do it,” WillThaRapper said. “This is big for DC and the DMV; For them to hear Guwop on a WillThaRapperrecord because now we got one foot in the door and another foot on these niggas’ necks.”
