Wale made a comeback with “ Groundhog Day,” a response to J. Cole implicating him on “ False Prophets. ” Neither track was a diss per se; taken together, hip-hop fans were given a refreshing call-and-response from two excellent lyricists. While we wait for Cole’s album, 4 Your Eyez Only — out on Friday (Dec. 9) — Wale is already back with a new offering. It’s just a freestyle, but it comes over a classic: the DJ Premier-produced “ Nas Is Like .” With that in mind, Wale better come correct, and indeed he does. Lyrically, “ Folarin Like ” might be even more impressive than “ Groundhog Day.” The freestyle sums up Wale‘s perspective on the game and why there’s no one else like him
