Earlier this week, Waka Flocka Flame posted the artwork to an upcoming song called “Was My Dawg.” The picture shows a silhoutte of a person that appears to be Gucci Mane. Waka even took it a step further by tagging Guwop in the image. Now, the full song has surfaced online and while he doesn’t name Gucci on the track, it’s clear Waka is referring to his former mentor during moments on “Was My Dawg.”
“Thought you was my ni**a shorty, thought you was my dawg/ Thought you was my ni**a shorty, thought you was my dawg/ You all for yourself, shorty, you a ball hog,” raps Flocka on the song’s hook. The record closes out with an audio clip of Waka’s interview with Charlie Sloth on BBC Radio 1Xtra, where he speaks on Gucci after being released from jail last year
