What year is it again? It’s certainly been a minute since we’ve heard a Tweet and Missy Elliott collaboration, but it was far from a choice. Missy has recently reminded everyone how much we need her, and with her new guest spot on “Somebody Else Will,” we’re now once again ready for Tweet’s delicate, acoustic guitar-driven R&B.
Anyone who’s familiar with the singer’s debut album, Hummingbird, will be brought right
back to the warm melodies of the project, and with new artists like Tink recently hinting at
that very sound, it seems like a better time
than ever for Tweet to make a comeback. Her
new album, Charlene, is out February 26th.
