Tove Styrke joins that list with “Mistakes” — a song which sits somewhere between the crisp rhythms of this year’s “Say My Name” and the straightforward pop joy of her 2011 breakout, “Call My Name.
The cinematic “Mistakes” visual shows Styrke fleeing a church and tossing away her bouquet while running through epic scenery on the Swedish island of Gotland. Later, there’s a breathtaking visual twist in the middle 8, as the video expands in scope and flips to Styrke at a champagne-fueled rave with a bunch of other runaway brides.
