Covering Complex today wasn’t enough for Tinashe, so she’s decided to drop another song from her upcoming sophomore album, JOYRIDE. Rap fans will be happy to see Metro Boomin, the talented Atlanta producer who’s been Future’s right-hand man over his last few releases, behind the boards on “Ride Of Your Life,” a moody number that fits into the same territory as the singer’s previous collaboration with Young Thug, “Party Favors”.
Like that track, the new single operates somewhere between ballad and banger, never unleashing its energy on to the dancefloor, but keeping up a considerable tension throughout. Look out for the album anytime now. Tinashe begins her headlining tour on February 28th.
