The Game drops off a tribute record to Prince called “Rest In Purple.” The world lost a musical icon on Thursday when legendary singer, Prince, was found dead in his home studio in Minneapolis. Many fans, peers, and fellow artists immediately took to social media to give their condolences, but The Game decided to pay his respects on wax, releasing a new tribute record tonight fittingly called “Rest In Purple” featuring Lorine Chia .

“@Prince was such a huge inspiration to my life from a child watching #PurpleRain til the time I met him at Universal Music in 2006…. I was a fan then & I am a fan now ! His death was untimely & tragic… I’m sure the world is saddened as I was when I woke up to the news today….
