SZA’s debut album CTRL is only a few hours away, officially releasing at midnight in-stores and streaming services. The 14-track LP features guest appearances by James Fauntleroy, Travi$ Scott, and Isaiah Rashad. One track fans have been eagerly awaiting since the track list was revealed is the Cam O’Bi-produced “Doves In the Wind.” The groovy laid-back record includes a feature by SZA’s labelmate Kendrick Lamar, who touches on the subject of the powerful and pleasurable female anatomy.
In an interview with Fireside Chat, the singer-songwriter shared her mindset during CTRL’s creation. “I’m just learning myself. I’m still learning myself, but I think I am comfortable with what I do and don’t know by now,” she said. “So, I don’t know. I just think I had to be prepared for myself. Last time I just made an album cause I had to put out an album.”.
