With his upcoming 8 set to drop on December 8th, Statik Selektah continues to release the project one single at a time. Having previously dropped singles with Run The Jewels, 2 Chainz & Wiz Khalifa, Joey Bada$$ & G Eazy, Juelz Santana and more, it’s a wonder that Statik still has any heat left over. And yet he continues to impress, dropping off another banger called “Slept To Death,” featuring Curren$y and Cousin Stizz. The laid back track features some saxophone courtesy of Utril Rhaburn, while both emcees trade some chill bars, calling back to the days of smoke-filled jazz clubs.
