SonReal gets sentimental with his latest. It was back in August that SonReal delivered on his One Long Dream project. It was during the making of this effort, that the Vancouver-based artist dealt with the death of his father, who passed away right before SonReal inked his major label deal in 2016. Now, as he gets ready to unveil One Long Dream’s deluxe vinyl edition, set to finally arrive some time this month, he leads the outing with his latest single “My Friend,” an ode to his father, produced by icon Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds.
