The EarDrummers founder has been responsible for quarterbacking some of the year’s strongest releases thus far, from Trouble’s chilling Edgewood to the triumphant and ambitious SR3MM trifecta. Today, his signees coalesce on a Jxmtroduction banger, the simply titled “Cap. Picking up where the cold synthetics of Edgewood left off, “Cap’s” minor key arrangement and driving 808s provide a haunting background for the pair of capable emcees. Perhaps appropriately, the album (and by extension this particular chapter) serves as a worthy introduction of Jxmmi’s talents, which you would be remiss to overlook.
