Omar Samuel Pasley, professionally known as OMI, is a Jamaican reggae singer-songwriter and is finally back with his second official major single, “Hula Hoop“!It comes after the massive success of his first, “Cheerleader“ which was originally released back in 2012 but in 2014, the track was remixed by German record producer and deejay Felix Jaehn and it was re-released by Sony Music and Ultra Records becoming a global smash hit and number one in Australia, Denmark, The Netherlands and Sweden.That track then went on to be re-released once again with a remix edition of the single featuring the additional vocals of American rapper Kid Ink on July 3rd and then again also on July 31st, this time with the addition of American reggaeton singer Nicky Jam.
“Hula Hoop” is set to be released on digital retailers on 28 August 2015 via Ultra Records and Sony Music along the pre-order of his debut album “Me 4 U” on iTunes. It’s also set to be impacting radio on 14 September 2015.
