Mi Piace is the new song from Obaland Awards winner, Enaruna Edosomwan, popularly know by his artist name Naxis Dg, featuring Universal Music Group artiste
Tommy Kuti and a Nigerian veteran Afrobeat singer and a producer Kelikume.
The song which Naxis entitled “Mi Piace” meaning “I like” in Italian language, the country he adopted from childhood. Naxis Dg decribed the insipiration behind the song saying “I’ve been putting my Italian Fans aside since my recent Obaland Award honors, which was highly celebrated in most Eu clubs and in New Zealand thanks to TBQ event organizers who have been organizing shows for me.
I felt it was time for me to sing a victorious song that will express gratitude to multiethnic followers and fans.That was how i featured the biggest from the best
So no one can contest” Said Naxis.
The song was written in both English and Italian verses, as to embrace global audience and presicely his
Naxis Dg, hails from Benin City, Nigeria. He has shared important stages with other Nigeria mainstream artistes like Ice Prince, Diamond Platnumz, Davido, 2Baba & Many More. He came into prominence in Italy after releasing several hit SIngles and 2 Debute Album to catapult him to signing a deal with Newyork biggest Reggae and Dancehall record label VP Records arms VPAL Music with the likes of Busy Signal, Shaggy, Buju, Sean Paul, Patoranking and Winning Jah, to mention few.
