In the early 2000’s, Ludacris and Jermaine Dupri served up an anthem for their hometown of Atlanta with “Welcome To Atlanta.” It was a massive single that ended up spawning a Coast 2 Coast remix with Snoop Dogg, Diddy, and Murphy Lee. It also sparked regional remixes from Warren G, Kardinal Offishall and Pitbull. Now, Ludacris and Jermaine Dupri revisit their anthem for an official remix for the Atlanta Falcons.

Ludacris and Jermaine Dupri have flipped their classic “Welcome To Atlanta” for an official remix specifically made for the Atlanta Falcons. The new remix is meant to put the other teams in the NFL on notice that ATL isn’t playing this year. Both Dupri and Luda are lifelong fans of the Falcons so it didn’t come as much shock that they teamed up for this one.

“As time has [passed and Atlanta has grown], musically and just the city growing, you see people – movies being shot here. But we still haven’t won a Super Bowl” Dupri said in a statement. “It’s the badge of our pride. We’ve got to get it.”

“To be able to do a Falcons version of our hit song ‘Welcome to Atlanta’ is an opportunity of a lifetime,” Ludacris said. “Hopefully this song can help (this team) even further in terms of motivation… giving them that extra oomph that they need to do the damn thing.”
