Lil Uzi Vert‘s new project LUV Is Rage 2 for a minute now, and over the weekend, they got a giant surprise when five new songs from the Philly rapper premiered on Shade 45.Someone in Uzi’s camp must have been anxious to premiere new music, because five new Uzi tracks played during DJ Drama and Don Cannon’s Gangsta Grillz show this past Friday (July 21). None of these song titles have been confirmed, but the one labeled “Walking Around With a Band” is produced by Cardo.
Sunday night, Uzi addressed the songs, saying they won’t even be on the upcoming project,Five New Lil Uzi Vert Songs Premiere on Shade while “Loaded” sounds like it’s got 808 Mafia production. Young Thugis also featured on “Bag,” while it sounds like Carti was meant to be on “Pet” along with Uzi. At one point, the DJ playing the songs says he got sent the whole album, so perhaps the project is finally complete.
