The final One Direction member to go solo, Payne debuts his first single after the 1D’s breakup, “Strip That Down.” For his first offering since signing with Republic Records last year, the 23-year-old singer instructs that one special girl to let her hands do the work and take those layers off. The upbeat track features the popular and high-in-demand Quavo of the Migos, who is fresh off his first No. 1 record as a solo artist on DJ Khaled’s “I’m the One.”
In an interview with Tim Westwood last month, Quavo revealed a music video for “Strip That Down” was filmed. “I just came from a video,” said Quavo to Westwood, spilling the news about the collaboration with Payne. “You know my boy Liam, from One Direction, we just shot that. You know, crazy vid. Crazy visuals.”,The singer has been teasing fans with sneak peaks of the song on social media over the past couple of weeks but the time is finally here to listen to the full and finished product.
