Pro Era is on a roll in 2017. In April, Joey Badass released his sophomore album All-Amerikkkan Badass, which counts as one of the best projects of the year. Kirk Knight and Nyck Caution look to continue that momentum with their own collaborative release, appropriately titled Nyck @ Knight. To give fans a taste of what’s to come, they share “Off the Wall,” which highlights their chemistry on wax.
“It wasn’t making an album, it was making an experience,” Knight said of the collaborative project. “We were working together on a song, and before we knew it we had a full project. Nyck @ Knight wasn’t a plan but it came out of us,”We always talked about doing something like a project and that it would happen when the time was right, and once we started working we realized the time was finally right to get it done.
