DJ Quik & Problem ft The Game & Candace Boyd – Rosecrans

DJ Quik and Problem recruit The Game and Candace Boyd for “Rosecrans”. DJ Quik and Problem dropped their surprise EP, Rosecrans, today, and they’ve now uploaded the title track to SoundCloud, which should give you a good idea of the feel of the project. A buttery smooth groove, complimented by some funky-ass keys gives way to Candace Boyd’s G-Funk-informed hook, while The Game and Problem give us their West Coast best. Unfortunately, Quik doesn’t spit a verse, but he does have a spoken bridge, which contains enough charisma and wisdom that it pretty much qualifies as a 16.
