New to the site, Crown is a buzzing new rapper out of Daytona, Florida who’s been making a name for himself thanks to the success of singles like “I Know” & “Derek Jeter,” the latter of which has been hitting radio airwaves & DJ’s recently. Looking to capitalize off his growing momentum, the Florida native decided to drop off his debut project today called The June Tape, which we’re highlighting for y’all today with the song “Toni Braxton.”
Over production from King June, Crown rides the pocket of the unorthodox beat & shows off his impressive wordplay & flow, while flipping a nice “Toni Braxton” sample for the chorus. “Write a song, crush a redbone, Gambino.”
