Chuck Strangers just dropped his debut album Consumers Park, which gives listeners a better idea of what the Brooklyn rapper is all about, while also delivering the traditional Pro Era boom bap fans have come to expect. On “Thoro Hall,” Strangers taps fellow PE member Kirk Knight for a track that plays to his strengths, as he stylishly delivers braggy bars and flashes of political commentary (“Threw my last 3 thou’ in the name of Sandra Bland / On my project cover I’m starin’ like Sandra Bland”).
