Gambino debuted a new song called “Me & Your Mama” today on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show. It’s a 6-minute, 3-part epic that moves from a psychedelic lullaby to a rambling, bluesy section with anguished singing. It is here that Gambino’s voice is most active. The frenzy of the second movement eventually dissolves into a wobbly refrain. Overall, “Me and Your Mama” does not give any answers about Awaken, My Love! There are only more questions.
