“Cassper Said Hop On To The Remix It’s Nothing Show Me Where The Booth Is/”

Had to open the review with that line. Early October Talib Kweli visted South Africa & during his visit Cassper Nyovest announced that he had dropped a verse on his monster anthem “Doc Shebeleza” and today we got to listen to the final product.
The remix was produced by Anatii who switched up the beat a little bit but still maintained it’s raw heavy sound. Talib Kweli comes through with the first verse which he delivers impressively while sending shout outs to S.A’s main towns for being a great host during his visit. Cassper comes in with the second verse on which he lets us know that his album (Tsholofelo) is going Gold and the other rapper has only sold 200 copies (we all know who he’s referring to…AKA). He stays true to his roots by giving a shot out to Madiba that he is abusing the freedom he fought for and in a classic Cassper way he brags off that Mama Yvonne Chaka Chaka said Doc Shebeleza is one of her favorite songs.
