If you ask fans, one of the best skits from Chappelle’s Show is the “Wu Financial” segment where Wu Tang Clan gave business advice about diversifying their bonds. Asher Roth and The Cool Kids are taking a page out of that classic skit with their new collaboration, over some thumping production by Chuck Inglish. It is not yet known where this song will end up.
A testament to Blended Babies’ range, the 10-track project is a mix of rap, R&B, rock and soul featuring collaborations with the likes of Boldy James, Jon B. and Finding Noyvon. However, it’s the hypnotic “Magic” — featuring Asher Roth and Houston rapper Fat Tony, who previously linked up on 2015’s “Sushi” — that’s putting us in a trance right now.
