Listen to a new record from Jidenna, “Little Bit More.” Janelle Monae’s artist, Jidenna, made a name for himself with his “Classic Man” record, which is a decidedly not hip-hop record, but managed to reach such an audience thanks to a remix by Kendrick Lamar. Jidenna is currently prepping his debut album on Wondaland Records, Long Live The Chief, and today he’s debuted a new single which is undoubtedly vying for radio play, “Little Bit More.” It’s not confirmed this will appear on the album, but it sounds like it easily could. Apart from “Classic Man” and an appearance on Janelle’s “Yoga,” Jidenna dropped two loose cuts back in December, “Knickers” and “Extraordinaire.” Stay tuned for Long Live The Chief to arrive later this year.
