From his days as a member of the Grip Boiz collective, to being signed as a Chocolate City artist in 2017, Yung L—aka Mr. Marley, real name Christopher Omenye—has patiently waited for his turn to lord his talent over Nigeria’s dancehall scene.
His 2021 album, Yaadman Kingsize, was a boisterous proclamation of that arrival on the big stage, and the singer-songwriter follows it with CLRS, a more mellow yet equally confident project featuring Mr. Vegas and Aubrey Qwana.
