In terms of parenting, Nigerian, parents are the worst in the world. Don’t panic yet, I’ll explain.
First off, parenting, the process of raising children and providing them with protection and care in order to ensure their healthy development into adulthood according to popular definition.
But I think Nigerian parents are getting it wrong.
The only bible verse Nigerian parents understood and put into practice is “spare the rod and spoil the child”.
Of course, if children are not physically punished when they do wrong their personal development will suffer; but excess of it damage the child the more.
You wonder why we have so many angry young people in Nigeria? The negative effects of what some passed through in the hands of their parents, in the name of discipline.
Nigerian parents are too aggressive, controlling and the children inherit and unleash it on their own kids and wives.
Despite all the inhumane punishment under the guise of discipline, Nigerian kids remain the worst in most cases. The white don’t beat their children at all, yet they grow to become more successful in life and perhaps decent than us.
Nigerian mothers are breeding terrorists unknowingly.
